“The young of our times have a high chance of living in a new and unprecedented period in our Earth’s history brought about by many factors, one of the strongest being climate change.” –Issue 35.1 feature

This issue’s feature, “Generation Anthropocene,” is dedicated to today's youth, many of whom, in future decades, may be forced to deal with a planet radically changed by those in the past and present. This feature presents words and images from grade school through college-aged environmentalists—those who will have to begin making sense of the first human-altered climate in Earth’s long history. Feature editor: Charles Tonderai Mudede

This issue also includes ARCADE’s regular columns covering a wide range of design, architecture, urbanism, and art focused topics from a Northwest perspective.

Issue 35.1 is printed in two-color on uncoated stock. The issue was designed byGraphiti Associates.
